How to reach us

Email is the way to contact VAT Calculator Ireland. There is no contact form, no phone line and no office you can visit; a small team maintains this site and email keeps things simple on both ends.

Write in English, tell us which page you are writing about, and include a link if your message concerns a specific calculation or figure. That detail usually saves a whole round of follow-up emails.

What to contact us about

• Corrections. If a rate, threshold or worked example on any page looks wrong or out of date, tell us. Irish VAT rules change, the 1 July 2026 hospitality change being the latest example, and reader reports help us catch anything we missed. We check every correction against Revenue's official rates database before publishing a fix.
• Calculator problems. If a button does nothing, a figure looks off, or the tool misbehaves on your phone or browser, send the amount you entered, the rate you selected and the result you got. Screenshots help.
• Suggestions. Ideas for new calculators or guides are welcome. Several pages on this site exist because a reader asked for them.
• Business and advertising. Partnership or advertising queries go to the same address. Put "Business" in the subject line so it gets to the right person faster.

What we cannot help with

We build calculators; we are not tax advisors. We cannot tell you which VAT rate applies to your specific product, whether you should register, or how to handle a dispute with Revenue. For questions about your own tax affairs, contact the Revenue Commissioners directly or speak to a qualified accountant. Our disclaimer explains the limits of what this site offers.
